The Law & Mediation Offices of Debra N. Caligiuri handles all aspects of family law including divorce, child custody and visitation disputes, paternity cases, adoption proceedings, complex family law matters, premarital and post-nuptial agreements. Attorney Caligiuri is also experienced and trained in collaborative divorce, a process designed to create less stress on participants and reduce strain on California's family court system.

Attorney Caligiuri has devoted the past fifteen years building her family law practice in Encinitas and contributing to this close knit community. Looking at each client’s individual situation, she strives to provide them the most effective way to get through the legal process. Her basic philosophy with respect to family law matters is to attempt to resolve all matters in a fair, reasonable, and well-informed manner for the benefit of our clients. We have found our clients are most satisfied when they can resolve the issues by means of settlement, thereby taking control of their own destiny, rather than laying their lives before a court which has limited time to consider all the important aspects of one’s life.

Attorney Caligiuri is an active member of the local legal community, a member of the North County Bar Association, San Diego County Bar Association, and is an active member of the Collaborative Family Law Group of San Diego. Attorney Caligiuri has served on many committees during her tenure and has also served the Court as counsel for children. Her skills as a mediator were initially built through her years spent as a Crisis Counselor, where she was trained and engaged in active problem solving with clients. View Credentials
